About Us

reMODEST was founded by Natassja Francis, a single mother with a vision and a fierce commitment to faith, family, and community. What began as a side hustle out of necessity — selling modest pieces from her own closet — quickly grew into a powerful movement. With no outside funding and nothing but determination, Natassja built Canada’s first modest thrift boutique, with a mission to make modesty affordable, elegant, and accessible.

The journey wasn’t easy. Natassja launched reMODEST during one of the hardest seasons of her life, raising her son on her own, often relying on food banks and community support. She created this brand not just to survive — but to build something lasting. Something sacred. A legacy for her son.

Every item sold through reMODEST helps fuel that legacy. We offer thoughtfully curated, modest fashion at prices that uplift instead of exclude. And we’re deeply committed to giving back: what we don’t stock, we donate. reMODEST proudly partners with Nisa Homes, Sakeenah Homes, and a network of women’s and men’s shelters across Ontario to ensure that excess clothing finds its way to those who need it most.

Based in Hamilton, Ontario, we offer local donation pickups every Sunday, helping our community declutter with purpose. Our mission is bigger than clothing — it’s about dignity, healing, and hope.

reMODEST is for the woman who walks with faith. The mother doing it all. The newcomer starting over. The student on a budget. The woman who wants to dress with intention, without compromise.

Welcome to reMODEST — where modesty meets meaning, and every piece tells a story.
